Camp Piankatank is a Christian summer camp and retreat center located on the beautiful Piankatank River. We provide a nurturing environment where campers can grow spiritually, mentally, and physically while creating lifelong memories.

Camp History
Get to Know Us
Camp Piankatank was acquired by the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) in 1960, launching its inaugural summer in 1961. Nestled along the picturesque Piankatank River in Middlesex County, VA, we began as a Royal Ambassador camp. Royal Ambassadors is a missions education initiative for boys.
In 2001, we shifted our focus to embrace both boys and girls from diverse backgrounds, offering an exceptional Christian summer camp experience. Summer camp remains central to our mission. Throughout the year, we collaborate with non-profit organizations and churches to host remarkable retreats and events.
We are dedicated to providing all our campers and guests with warm Christian hospitality and thrilling adventures. We look forward to seeing you soon on the shores of the Piankatank River!
