Camp Piankatank

Updated: We are opening today (Saturday) from 1:00-7:00pm. For showers and water.
Hello friends! We hear that many people in our local community of Middlesex County, and neighboring counties in Gloucester, Mathews and New Kent are without power right now due to the storm last night. Thankfully Camp Piankatank never lost power and only had a little tree damage. We're all cleaned up now (thanks to Harvey's Tree Service)
Today Saturday October 13 from 1:00-7:00pm we are opening one lodge that can be utilized by anyone for hot showers (bring your own towels, one lodge has 7 showers), recharging phones, and filling up water bottles. We cannot house anyone overnight at this time. Feel free to come by and refuel!
Please stop at the camp office to be directed to the right place. If the outages are extended we may open this up on more days, but right now it is only today (Saturday) until 7:00pm. Our address is 1586 Stampers Bay Road, Hartfield.

And ARE THEY DOING IT TODAY? Saturday?

That is so wonderful. I love you all. We are without power and I am recovering from full knee replacement last week. I wished camp was closer.😊 we are doing well so far as we try to remain prepared. Please pray for the Hanover Firefighters that were involved in the terrible accident last night, they were good friends of our son.

We could use a shower and all, but a big tree decided to take my car out--its TOTALED!

You guys are great for doing this.

That’s why Piankatank is the best.

What a fantastic thing to do. God bless you

What wonderful Christian people!

That is wonderful. My daughter has gone to CP for over a decade and has worked there the last two!!! We are blessed to have you guys. Stay safe!!!!

What a kind and caring person you continue to be!

Wow.... that's awesome of yall to offer this. This is one of the reasons our town is pretty awesome to live in.

That is so wonderful

And the staff of Piankatank said, "Lord, when did we see you without water, or without electricity, or in need of rest, or lacking a shower?"

You are so generous! Thank you!

What a wonderful and thoughtful thing to do. Bless you.

This is so NICE of you thank you for doing this💕
